Review of Titanic (1943) by Nicholas L — 27 Jun 2015
"Titanic" is an amazing drama which offers a beautiful, moving and heart-breaking love story. James Cameron developed its characters greatly, making the viewer care about them, thus increasing the emotional depth of the story. The Titanic itself is a character; the viewer follows its first departure, its sail through the seas, with its huge, luxurious interiors and its imposing, gargantuan size and, finally, its most unfortunate end, which leads to strong dramatic scenes. These scenes are superbly acted by its stars, which give it their all. Its special effects are also great - managing to demonstrate the ships breath-taking size and its crew vulnerability.
"Titanic" is a true cinematic masterpiece.
