Review of Titan A.E. (2000) by Aren B — 07 Sep 2010
Tremendous animation (groundbreaking at the time), solid voice-acting, and a decent script make for an enjoyable film experience. There's times when I could see bits and pieces of what would become "Firefly" peeking through Joss Whedon's writing--though he only accounted for 1/3 of the writing credits, but another writer for "Firefly" was another of the co-writers and the guy who wrote some of the more recent Tim Burton movies was the third guy.
Don Bluth's last film--for now--was pretty exciting and cool, just like most of his films were (before "A Troll In Central Park" and his downward slide.).
