Review of 'Tis Autumn: The Search for Jackie Paris (2006) by Jason E — 20 Nov 2008
A well put together documentary using archive footage, memoirs from people from his past. I felt that the film, and Jackie, could both have said something about why his career crashed - why did he think it happened - the film gave a few clues but I wanted something a bit more *earth shattering* Still - a good film and I was lucky to see it as part of the London Jazz Festival 2008.
