Georstorm isn't a good film but I wanted to see something I could turn my mind off and watch things blow up in spectacular fashion. It delivers in part but I couldn't help realizing even in the genre of Disaster Films this couldn't even rise to the low bar of a 2012. The biggest shortcoming is the characters you're with don't hold your interest like a Will Smith in Independence Day or a John Cusack in 2012 and it wasn't like they were the most riveting characters but I enjoyed my time with them.

Skip it, if you want to watch things blow up you've got better options.
