Review of Tinker Bell (2008) by Se7Enth A — 11 Jan 2010
"The result of a child's first laugh and that's how fairies are born.".
An enjoyable flick, best for the kids under 10. It will probably appeal to girls more than boys. As an avid Disney fan and Tinkerbell, Peter Pan?s fairy companion happens to one of the best known characters in the world, I did enjoy this animation very much. Other than marvelling at the beautiful animation, there is a moral to the story too: Tinkerbell must learn to appreciate the fairy talent she has rather than attempting to change it. She was born as a Tinker Fairy, which this particular workforce is responsible for engineering and repairing innovative items using every day objects in nature. But the grass seems greener on the other side. She wanted to be a Nature Fairy with the flair to control the wind, water and light. Sweet, bright and so colorful.
