Review of Tin Cup (1996) by Gary A — 22 Jul 2007
A charming, well-writte4n movie about a slacker golf pro. Costner is at his best here, playing a laid-back likeable loser. He and this director did the same kind of things years ago with the admirable Bull Durham.
Cheech Marin adds a lot of laughs as Costner's loyal caddy. Rene Russo positively glows. Don Johnson plays an a-hole to perfection.
