A truly fascinating film, albeit VERY tedious. Once the remarkable thesis is presented as to the revolutionary manner in which Vermeer painted and how Tim recreated it and reproduced a copy of a famous Vermeer painting over serveral years, Tim's feeling of tediousness gets to us and we found ourselves looking at our watches to see how much more time we needed to endure.
Still, a film worth viewing -- perhaps making use of "fast forward.".
