Review of TiMER (2009) by Mychal S — 13 Feb 2011
Interesting. "TiMER" is surprisingly original. It's not quite quirky-indie, but not quite romantic-comedy either. Something about the way it was shot made it feel like one long episode of a TV show though, and with an idea that interesting this movie could have been a whole lot more.
John Patrick Amedori is great. Emma Caulfield was pretty good. The ending wasn't entirely predictable but still pretty textbook-happy-ending. I'm really just listing things about the movie now, but oh well.
The basic premise of the movie makes it sound incredibly sappy and B-movie - but "TiMER" isn't all that bad. Keeps you interested.
