Review of Timeline (2003) by Bea K — 22 May 2008
I had a terrible sense of Deja Vu watching this - the movie and the sensation. Like a cheap retread of a poor Star Trek episode, this film attempts to make time travel palatable to a non-SF audience and fails miserably in the attempt.
It's drecky and awfully miscast, wasting most of its running time on a barely coherent plot and paper-thin characterisation. Hard to believe this is directed by the same Richard Donner responsible for Superman and the Lethal Weapon films.
And apparently based on a Michael Crichton novel - wasn't it Ray Bradbury originally?!
