Review of Timecode (2000) by Drew M — 12 Nov 2007

I really like long takes, so of course I had to check this out. Unfortunately, it just doesn't add up to much. The idea is there, but the talent and the story are not. It's particularly painful trying to watch Salma Hayek improvise; and when you can actually see one of the cameramen get caught on-screen early in the film, you just have to wonder what the other takes were like.

Ultimately, it's an admirable failure.
