Review of Time Bandits (1981) by Magill F — 18 Feb 2008
Another Gilliam Masterpiece...Kind of Python but I guess not technically. Cleese and Connery were great. I remember seeing this originally on my birthday as a kid with a huge group of friends, and the film kept breaking! It was so good we all stuck with it.
I have seen it many times since then. Very much in the same vein as Brazil (but lighter hearted), and maybe a bit of Being John Malcovich.
