Review of Time Bandits (1981) by Teevie A — 15 Feb 2009
I was molested by this movie. Saw it in the theater as a child & having been lucky enough to grow up loving Monty Python was able to immerse myself in the playful yet nearly-sarcastic adventure. The jarring finale was a cruel thing to do to the children who would inevitably be watching, and for that I'm not sure whether to detract or add a point.
Uncle Terry was just trying to prepare us for the disappointments of real life.
