Each historical setting, complete with fantastic set design is jammed full of exciting characters and detail. The action and adventure will appeal to children; the bizarre and somewhat dark humor that is a trademark of Gilliam will appeal to adults.
This is a fantasy movie that caters to both age groups, and should not be missed for too many reasons to explain.
