Review of Tim and Eric's Billion Dollar Movie (2012) by K H — 20 Jul 2012
"Billion Dollar Movie" is what you would expect from a Tim and Eric movie. Dry humor, exhibitions of sex and nudity, violence, poop and dick jokes, morally destructive scenes (like stealing a kid from his hardworking dad, only to throw them into gunfire), and general shenanigans.
The movie is not for everyone. If you haven't ever seen a Tim and Eric production, I would severely suggest against seeing this movie. Having watched their TV shows on Adult Swim, I decided to pick it up and watch it.
I got a few laughs. This is one of their only works to have even remotely what resembles a plot (not really, though.) There are some elements added in just for cheap laughs like the "Analyzing your movie" and the musical numbers.
For a movie which seemed so crappy to most people, it's amazing they got Jeff Goldblum, Zach Galifianakis and Will Ferrel to work on set. The movie is a movie inside of a movie, which leads into another internal movie which makes you wonder if you're watching Inception.
As a last reminder, don't watch this movie if you've ever been offended ever in your entire life.
