If you can get past the morally reprehensible elements and plot holes, this is an okay thriller. What gives it a lift is the strong central performance by Eastwood imbuing his usual tough cop role with a little more depth and charm, and the chemistry between Eastwood and the always reliable Genevieve Bujold.
