Watched it 10 times. Couldn't stop watching it - finally sent it to a retired navy guy, just so I'd stop watching it so I could do things I needed to do. Top-drawer in every way - excellent acting in every role - snappy script.
If I could find a criticism of this movie, it'd be maybe a previously unknown sub with stealth capabilities showing up is a little predictable - but that in no way subtracts from the experience of immersion in a military culture as different from everyday life as night and day.
This movie is high on my list of all time favs. I think about it a LOT. Thanks to all the actors, producers of this movie - job well done.
