Review of Ticking Clock (2011) by Roni F — 15 Jul 2012
The makers of Ticking Clock do not seem to have honed their skills yet. The script is dumb, predictable, and defies common sense. The production and directing are both lazy and bungling, the acting (except for Gooding's of course) amateurish, the score similar to that of a bad daytime TV movie.
There are a couple of better moments, and overall the movie is trying to get its audience -- one would hope a less experienced one -- to think about the nature of crime and evil. Well, it's a necessary evil for movie lovers to watch lemons like this one sometimes; it reminds you how good the good stuff is!
