Review of Ticking Clock (2011) by Carl C — 15 Jan 2011
Best not to decide whether to watch this film based on this review, as, quite frankly, I only made it 30 minutes in.
How far Cuba Gooding Jr. has fallen. This has to be one of the cheapest looking, ill-concieved messes I've ever laid eyes on. Like a really bad, cheap episode of that old TV show Millennium.
I've never been a fan of possibly-human-but-more-likely-android actor Neal McDonough, but he really outdoes himself here. Frankly, I find him unbearable. He delivers each line with the menace of a horny poodle. The abhorrently hackneyed character doesn't do him any favours either.
I mean I haven't actually watched it, but from what I was able to endure, this is a movie you want to avoid. Unless you like cardboard sets, laughable death scenes and a story that's been yawned out by Hollywood for decades.
