Review of Thunderheart (1992) by Stefano L — 27 Apr 2014
Good movie. Val Kilmer was young and still talented. (What the hell happened to him? What a waste of potential....).
If you read the promotional material ahead of time, and you're a skeptic and cynic like myself, you might start rolling your eyes and think it's just Hollywood trying to earn some cheap points by setting what is basically a generic good cop-bad cop story on an Indian reservation, but the movie is far more successful than just that. The setting is central to the storytelling, and it is good storytelling. Well made. Well acting. Good script. You should watch it...
