Review of Thunderbolt and Lightfoot (1974) by Private U — 12 Mar 2008
The final movie on my film studies Clint Eastwood course and it's a good one. Part road movie, part buddy movie, part bank robbery caper, it features some fabulous cinematography, good work and chemistry between the two leads and some cracking support from two great character actors, George Kennedy and Geoffrey Lewis.
Part comic, part tragic and with a gay subtext (apparently).
