Review of Thunderbolt and Lightfoot (1974) by Enrico C — 11 Apr 2009
First movie by Micheal Cimino, talented director that shows here for the first time his ability. It is an odd crime story, that renews all the genre's cliches, as it is clear from the opening sequence set in the church, and from the humour in the sex episodes.
Great performances by Clint Eastwood and in particular the young Jeff Bridges, here involved in a sort of father-son realtionship, deeply moving in the end.
