Review of Thunderbolt and Lightfoot (1974) by Michael W — 18 Feb 2011
Eastwood and Bridges make a fantastic duo in this very good heist film. After randomly meeting, Lightfoot (Bridges) and Thunderbolt (Eastwood) form a somewhat unlikely bond between an aging vet of the crime game and a young goofy more offbeat newcomer to the hobby.
After Lightfoot learns of Thunderbolt's past and the two team up with the men who were just trying to kill them in an attempt to get some cash. When all is said and done, this film has enough action, laughs, quotes, and thrills to keep almost anyone entertained.
Just a very fun film to watch.
