Review of Thunderbolt and Lightfoot (1974) by Sean S — 23 Mar 2010
The acting and chemistry of Eastwood and Bridges is remarkable and naturalistic. Bridges steals the show with a comedic and charming performance which wins you over in the first 2 minutes. Eastwood is in a familiar role and is as good as ever with a hard boiled performance. Their characters are brought to life with great dialogue which gives them depth and the audience more of an insight to them but one thing that is strange is how they become isntant best friends. For a film that is otherwise intelligant and well thought out its dissapointing.
The directing and cinematography are brilliant and fit in with the genre well.
