Review of Thunderbirds (2004) by Diantha V — 28 Sep 2004
Okay, so I'm not really a fan of the whole puppetshow from the original Thunderbirds. I'd seen it once a long time ago but I thought it was just some lame old cartoon-ish thing from the 60's. I was born in the first year of '90, so I actually wasn't even close to being a thought in my parents' minds. But I've heard plenty of ranting about it from a guy in my class who happens to have an old obsession with it.
So when I went to see this with my nephew I was planning on getting some sleep but you know what? It turned out to be a pretty cool movie. Okay, so this 'The Hood' guy was just your typical crazy madman and the acting was a bit stiff some times, but the action scenes were great and in the end it turned out to be an entertaing movie.
Brady Corbet was great as Alan Tracy and his 'sidekicks' Soren Fulton and Vanessa Anne Hudgens (Fermat and Tin Tin) did a good job too. It took me a while to figure out that Lady P (who's character is amazing) was Sophia Myles from Underworld, but I caught on eventually..
All in all a very cool flick.
