Review of Thunderball (1965) by Nicolas L — 11 Dec 2008
Sean Connery's Favorite, Apparently. besides TB is slightly too contrived and gimmicky to live up to the standard of Goldfinger, it's almost as fun and still a worthy addition to the Bond legacy.
Claudine Auger and Luciana Paluzzi are arguably the 60s' sexiest bond girls, Adolfo Celi, despite being dubbed, give a very suave performance as the ruthless Largo and Bernard Lee and Desmond Llewelyn were great foils to Connery's Bond, R.
I.P. gentlemen. Despite it's flaws, Thunderballs is my fourth favorite in the bond series.
