Review of Thunderball (1965) by Ben B — 23 Oct 2012
Although the Bond formula had been effectively put in stone with the previous entry, Thunderball still had things clicking fairly well. Connery is fun to watch and the adventure features some new variety with the underwater sequences.
Some aren't a fan of it, but I found the underwater action well choreographed and believable enough. "Thunderball" is another great example of why people love the original Bond, although signs of the series getting too gadget friendly were seen here, particularly the jet-pack.
