Review of Thunder Road (1958) by Joe K — 01 Oct 2005
Godzilla vs. its space counterpart was very funny. It's also funny that all you have to do is say "fart" to make my brother (Guthrie) laugh.
Also, I watched the last scene of "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad World" because that is the best scene in the entire movie. In fact, that is my favortie movie seen of all time.
Today we went to Seven Bridges near the lake front for a walk and I finished "Thunder Road" which was awesome.
OK, funny story -- last Friday my mom picked me and my brothers up from school and when we went to my bros' school, my mom had to talk to the principal for a few minutes (about Guthrie of course). So anyway, we see this dad screaming at his son "NO EATING IN THE CAR, ERIC! NEVER!" And we are laughing at this. So my mom gets back and we tell her while she starts to drive. She looks at this guy (who is now struggling with the lock) and my mom puts her hand over her mouth and says "Oh my God, the kid locked him out!". We all looked and as we drove past (with all the car windows open) we hear the guy scream, "THAT'S NOT FUNNY!".
We did not stop laughing.
And the worst part is, we laughed when we drove past so he heard us and everything. Yeah, it was bad.
So, what else? Not much. Got to watch "The Planet of the Apes" and "Beneath the Planet of the Apes" when they come in from the Library.
Well that's it...
Joe.
