Review of Throne of Blood (1957) by Smarty S — 04 Oct 2007
There is amazing imagery in this film. The thundering footfall of the horses, the panic of being lost in the fog of Spider's Web Forest. It's quite magical. The spirits whom Washizu meets in the forest are truly eerie; the moments gave me chills.
The marching trees spilling out from Spider's Web Forest, coming forth down the hillside, is a very impressive sight.
