Review of Throne of Blood (1957) by Jonathan B — 08 Aug 2009
Interesting and well shot with some good performances, but for some reason the film did not really click with me. I think serious film fans would really love how Kurosawa handled the story and the atmosphere he created, but given its slow pacing and dark tones, I do not think it is for people who just want to be entertained.
