Nobody laughs like Mifune, seriously. And I'm not surprised that T. S. Eliot apparently really liked this movie. However, I think I am too Westernized to really like it or love it, although I certainly admire it.
Maybe if I had more exposure to Noh... But I don't, and I would rather rewatch Yojimbo. The last scene, however, is brilliant cinema.
