Review of Thriller: A Cruel Picture (1973) by Jason J — 27 Nov 2010
Original, mesmerising and very surprising. Minimal soundtrack, long shots, slowmotion. Very arty and great, atypical action for the 2nd half of the film. The first is just a really long setup describing her miserable life repeating over and over, gradually being desensitized.
I could expect her becoming a new super hero, or at least imagine sequels.
