Review of Three Kings (1999) by Brad S — 13 Nov 2014
I thought this was an excellent action movie. Though it's set at the tail end of the Gulf War, I wouldn't necessarily classify it as a War movie, but more action/adventure with a good dose of comedy. It does have something to say about the War though which elevates this film above the typical action movie.
The movie is very stylistic and a fast-paced watch. I enjoyed all the main performances. Spike Jonze was hilarious, between this and the Fatboy Slim video for "Praise You", I am not sure why he doesn't act more. Check it out!
