Review of Three Fugitives (1989) by Shane D — 18 Oct 2011
This was another one of those films that I rented the hell out of when I was a kid. In fact, for a long time, when I thought of Martin Short or Nick Nolte, the first thing I would think of would be this film.
Itâ(TM)s kind of weird that it isnâ(TM)t that well remembered because it has all the trademarks of a lovable 80s film. I mean, it has the 80s songs, it has the wacky sequences (the early bank heist sequence is true comedic genius) and we have James Earl Jones AND Alan Ruck featuring.
Really great cinematic Martin Short performances are actually few and far between, and this is one of his best (and one of the few where he has a starring role).
