Review of Three Days of the Condor (1975) by Brad B — 09 Dec 2009
The critics panned the movie but I for one really enjoy it and I find it gets more relevant with the passage of time.
I still put it on often. The technical aspects of it look dated but I can recall when I first saw it at the theater and how high tech it was in it's day. But the good thing is it plays out so well you really don't care about the dated technology. Deep down you know that much of the dirty behind closed door cloak and dagger double dealings goes on today just as then.Befoire there was Jason Bourne there was Condor!
The love story end of it is more than a little far fetched but Redford and Dunaway play flawed loners well enough to pull it off.
If you haven't seen it scour the sale bins and pick it up it's one of those flicks that holds up well in a collection after repeated viewings.
