Review of Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017) by J C — 19 Mar 2018
Character development and the sometimes raw interactions of them with each other is developed with the realism that few films ever are able to capture with feeling. There are two sides to every story and then there is the truth which may elude you forever.
The circumstances of the story in this movie are all real and show how tragic events are sometimes just that. Tragic. The effect these events have on the characters searching for the "who" and the "why me" ripples through the town and fabric of the people who live there leaving them all to deal with the fact that sometimes these complicated things never resolve themselves, and it falls to the characters to accept and deal with these realities because these realities are the only ones you are going to get.
