With perhaps one of the strongest screenplays of the year, McDonagh brings fuses heartbreak and comedy all in one complete package. Between the script, direction, and outstanding lead and supporting performances, "Three Billboards" brings a unique take on some of life's biggest challenges, while maintaining a strong, even tone.
