Was Three Billboards a great Film? You Betcha...... I’m sorry. Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri is the new film from Martin McDonagh, the excellent director of In Bruges. This is a Fargo-esq black comedy about a woman who takes on her local town over the death of her daughter.
Francis McDormand gives possibly her best performance as the single mother of the murdered girl. Sam Rockwell is excellent, and gives maybe my favorite supporting performance of the year. Actually, most of the performances are excellent.
Also, the movie goes in a lot of unexpected and fantastic ways that I didn’t expect. Definitely a highlight of 2017.
