Review of Threads (1985) by Jason S — 30 Nov 2009
Watched this on a whim and was amazed! Considering this is a 25 year old British fictionalized documentary I didn't hold much hope that it would be any good. This turned out to be an incredibly brutal film about the horrors of nuclear war.
The level of detail is incredible. It is intense. It follows the events of escalating Russian/American tensions during a conflict in Iran and you see how everything plays out in the media through the eyes of the common people in Sheffield, England.
