Review of Thoroughbreds (2018) by David C — 17 Mar 2018
Thoroughbreds was something I was not really expecting. I initially went to.
See the film because it was filmed in Connecticut where I lived, and because.
It starred Anya Taylor-Joy and Olivia Cooke (who was soon to be in Ready.
Player One). I imagined it simply being a tale about two best friends or even.
A couple who fell love, but I was as far from the truth as I could get. This film.
Was interesting, beautifully acted and has some of the best music inclusion.
That I have yet to see. I often listen to the soundtrack just to get a feel of.
The suprisingly spooky atmosphere that the movie gave off. I was a bit.
Confused at the end however with the thoughts and resolution of one of the.
Characters, and due to the movie being a bit predictable at times I gave it.
Lower grading that I would have overall. This film really surprised the most.
Me so far for the year 2018, because it was so damn different and dark.
