A fresh, witty, and even sometimes funny indie thriller delivering wicked humor in a superb fashion thanks to Olivia Cooke and Ana Taylor-Joy's fascinating performances. Thoroughbreds is surprising and unpredictable no matter what you expect and that plot twist at the end is worth the patience of putting up with its sluggish pace.
