Review of Thor (2011) by Taylor W — 03 Nov 2013
Glossy, unpretentious fun- half action movie, half fish out of water comedy with a revelatory Tom Hiddleston in his breakout performance as Marvel's most complicated (so far on screen) villain. It's not taking itself too seriously, which is the way to go- a Batman style gritty origin would've killed this bright spritely adventure.
