Review of Thomas and the Magic Railroad (2000) by Roland G — 20 Feb 2009
Something horrid happened to the story line that the kids did not seem to notice. Rather than sticking with the trusted formula used for the television story, this movie jumped off the rails, ran a circuit around a strange railway station, passed through a magic buffer and got stuck in some rather sad looking clouds.
Not even Alec Baldwin could rescue the depressive rut that Peter Fonda got stuck in. I am still a fan of the original TV series.
