Maybe I just don't get English film. Maybe I don't get English history. Maybe I just have a distaste for films like this. As you can probably tell, I wasn't too taken with this film, which could have dealt with said subject matter in a more entertaining way.
I feel like I'm missing out on something, because it's otherwise generally well-reviewed.
