A gritty film that I wasn't really interested in seeing but was persuaded to after a massive hype. The film is indeed interesting and very well written. It tells a culturally relevant story which seems honest.
There's been a series made out of this, which I wouldn't mind having a look at to see the differences they have made. The ending is a bit shocking, but covers hard going issues well. The music really helps enhance this as well.
