Kirby Dick made quite a brave film in "This Film Is Not Yet Rated.". He may be burning all his Hollywood bridges, but this exposé on the MPAA and its ratings system makes a rather powerful argument. At times, it seems a little aggressive (naming the anonymous "average Americans" on the ratings board by name, and filming their homes - after revealing these folks only make about 30K/year), but Dick eventually justifies the means by divulging the relationships that exist between the MPAA, Hollywood insiders and (gasp!) the clergy.
It's a captivating documentary for anyone, but should be required viewing for aspiring filmmakers.
