This movie has always left a lasting impact on me. When I was younger and I saw it, I despised DeNiro because he played the part of the abusive step-father so well. This is also one of my favourite DiCaprio films, and one of his best.
I still find it difficult to watch this film, but it's a story that needs to be told.
