Review of This Boy's Life (1993) by Greg P — 27 Aug 2007
Not one of DeNiro's most heralded movies, but it sure was a goodie! The emotion in this one is ever-prevalent, and the friction is truly felt, as a spectator, between DiCarprio and DeNiro. The whole idea of a person coming into your life and stealing what is near and dear to you (his mother) is actually quite frightening and the noose is pulled tight in this one, until the situation violently resolves itself.
Great drama...I wanna see it again.
