Review of Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo (1944) by John P — 03 Nov 2007
Stirring account of the Doolittle-B25 raid against Japan right after Pearl Harbor. A bit overlong at 138M, it follows the crew of the 'Ruptured Duck" as they train, wait, and finally fly. Amazing special effects for the raid sequence.
Memorable scene: will they be able to take off from the carrier - or will they be pushed.
Overboard?
