Review of Thirteen Conversations About One Thing (2001) by Katharine M — 21 Mar 2008
Very well done. The movie takes place in middle New York. It takes us through the lives of four different people that have a story that all connects to the other persons missing piece. We realize how much we take for granted at our highest times as well as our lowest times.
To think that "No country for old man" took an Oscar and movies like this one are usually unnoticed just just get me mad.
But anyway, what the hell an Oscar mean? for me they have never been a standard for good movies, just an excuse for a hellish parade and the bloody red carpet.
