Review of Third Star (2010) by Katie W — 25 May 2011
A touching and close-to-the-heart feature that combines lad humour and a sense of truth that has undoubtedly affected more than a few. It's an incomparable masterpiece of cinema. Benedict Cumberbatch's lead is flawless in emotion and physicality, JJ Field plays Miles with flare and unbridled charisma.
With Tom Burke giving the film an uncompromising hero and Adam Robertson bringing a raw bond of brotherhood to the table, Third Star is an intelligent and incredible film in which the strength of true friendship is bought to light in the most extreme circumstances.
